End of year content
I got a lot of content that is going to be part of our End of year content push that you guys are going to absolutely love.
I wanted to apologize for the lack of content being published. There were a couple of important events that took time from writing and researching, plus I got married, then the honeymoon and tons of end of year projects, IT Emergencies, trips to Austin (hi guys!) etc.
The site has gone from four guys writing to one (me) because everyone is so swamped with work. Jeremy had to retire from contributing because he underwent major surgery to correct a problem in his lungs and until he doesn’t recuperate he won’t be able to write.
I have also been wanting to write about our incursion with Filewave 8.6.0 which is a product we are going to implement at the channel, to manage and govern all the Apple Mac OS X Computers we have. Filewave has been around for a very long time, but it has not had the exposure its competition, JAMF Casper has had over the years.
But more on that later…
I am planning to write a series of articles covering our checklist on why we went with Filewave, and compare it with JAMF Casper 9.3, as well as a complete guide on installing Filewave Server on a Mac, Imaging a computer and deploy applications to it full with scripts and filesets. These articles will be written, after Xmas (around December 27 – Jan 30).
Until then, have a Happy Thanksgiving next week!
